Our mission is to provide resources so Canon Hospice may extend end-of-life care to those who might otherwise be underserved. Resources are also available to provide education to the medical and lay community pertaining to end-of-life and hospice care. The Akula Foundation is dedicated to providing resources which allow Canon Hospice to extend hospice services to all members of the community, regardless of ability to pay.

TO CARE: Provide services to indegent patients and families who would  otherwise be underserved; Provide more extensive palliative care to Canon  Hospice Patients.

TO EDUCATE: Provide continuing education to hospice professionals and the medical and lay community regarding the latest information on Hospice Palliative Care.

TO DREAM: Grant special individuals reqests and provide support to Cannon Hospice patients and families who are struggling with the financial burdens encountered while dealing with a terminal illness.
